Will I need to install anything?
Not necessarily! You can start with shared links for quick feedback collection. When you're ready, you can add our lightweight widget to your site. Both options work seamlessly together to capture feedback from anywhere your users are talking.
What is included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 100 feedback entries, 3 boards, 1 team member, 1 workspace, 1 roadmap, and a feedback widget. The Starter plan gives you unlimited feedback entries, 5 boards, 2 team members, 1 workspace, 2 roadmaps, and 2 widgets.
Can my community browse public boards?
Public boards give your community a place to explore feedback, support ideas, and follow the conversation. The board on this page is an interactive example with sample ideas and temporary votes.
How do roadmaps work in HoleQD?
HoleQD roadmaps let you show your community what you're building and where each feature is in the process, from idea to shipped. You can link feedback items to roadmap entries, giving your users visibility into progress. Public roadmaps help manage expectations and keep everyone aligned.
How does voting help with prioritization?
Voting shows which ideas resonate with your community. Your team can use that signal alongside product goals, user needs, and effort to decide what to build next.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We take security seriously with enterprise-grade encryption, secure hosting, and compliance with data protection standards. Pro plans include SSO and advanced security features. Your feedback data is yours and we never share it with third parties.

How customizable is the feedback widget?

What types of boards can I create?
HoleQD offers four board templates: General Feedback for open-ended input, Feature Requests for product ideas, Bugs & Fixes for issue tracking, and Custom boards you can tailor to your needs. Each board can be set as public or private, and entries can be moved between boards at any time.
What kind of feedback can I collect?
You can collect two types of feedback: comments for quick, free-form input, and structured forms with custom fields for more detailed submissions. Both types support voting, status tracking, and can be linked to your roadmap.
